The Top Terrace offers perhaps the grandest outside location at the Abbey. The Terrace, which is accessible both from the front car park and Library, occupies a site that was originally a guest range for VIPs visiting the incumbent Abbot. The commanding view of the Battlefield and surrounding countryside from the Terrace is as dramatic and beautiful as you would expect.  

This majestic space is more often than not used for spring and summer ‘garden party style’ events, and drinks receptions. A variety of food and drink options are available. The Top Terrace can only be reached by a small number of steps (either up or down) so it might be worth taking this into consideration, depending on the mobility of your guests.
