Pupils will need a pencil case containing pencils, coloured pencils, an eraser, pencil sharpener and a ruler.

REGULATIONS

1. Every item sent to school should be clearly and permanently marked (initial and surname) with woven name tapes where appropriate. Un-named property which remains unclaimed at the end of term is given to charity.
Games kit and overalls should be named on the left side, outside.

2. "School" clothes: During the school day the lower school wear uniform. "School" clothes should thus be semi-formal, such as would be expected in the work place of a woman in a professional or managerial position. This may include a pair of well-tailored trousers.

3. "Concert" and "Home" clothes: "Concert" clothes should be a dress or skirt and blouse suitable for a formal occasion. "Home" clothes, which may include jeans, should be tidy and avoid extremes.

4. All clothing must be of the correct size, be maintained in good order and be replaced when necessary.

5. Hair must be kept tidy and all extremes of length and/or style must be avoided.

6. A limited amount of jewellery may be worn.

7. Make-up may be worn in moderation.

8. Sheets and pillowcases are provided by the school. A once-only charge is made when a pupil joins.

9. Electrical equipment is brought to school at the pupil’s own risk and insurance is strongly advised.

In any disagreement on the interpretation of these regulations the Headmaster's decision shall be final.
