Competition lies at the heart of much human endeavour and progress. You can compete against others or against yourself. We will encourage you to compete hard and achieve your best, not only compete in the classroom but in all areas of school life.

Will I be in a team?
In a small school like BAS everyone has a chance to represent the school at sport. We offer expert coaching in all sports. Pupils with special talents may join outside clubs or seek membership of county squads. Matches are played mid week and on Saturdays. In addition, opportunities exist to play squash, volleyball and to trampoline, to weight train, and sail.
