Physical
exercise is an important part of our curriculum.
At Key Stage 1 children have
two double lessons of swimming each week and quickly become
confident swimmers. They also have two double lessons of games
and one of music and movement.
At
Key Stage 2
children have a double lesson of sport every day. Two days
a week this session is swimming. On the other three days children
are introduced to, and coached in, a variety of sports including
netball, hockey, football, tennis, cricket, rounders, athletics
and gymnastics. Additional sports are introduced as after-school
acitivities.
