Quick and Easy Travel from Tunbridge Wells
The Battle Abbey School bus service stretches some 15 miles North, East and West of the Abbey in Sussex and Kent. We offer a range of options to ensure pupils can travel to and from both the Prep and Senior School conveniently and easily.
In addition to the convenient train line, Battle Abbey provides a regular and safe school bus option. Currently, this leaves Tunbridge Wells at around 7am each school morning, and returns at 7pm in the evening.
Costs are typically added to your school bill along with other disbursements for the term. Please note that if you have a second child who travels on the same service as their sibling, a discount will apply.
Many pupils also take the train which takes some 25 mins station to station with an 8 min walk to and from the Abbey from Battle station. On any given day we may see as many as 25 pupils get on the train to Battle from Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area with some coming from as far as Goudhurst.
