Organisation
Children learn best when they are engaged in purposeful activity and play. The nursery staff closely observe children at play and provide a flexible plan to support and scaffold every child’s learning. Each child will have an individual learning plan which will feed into the weekly and daily plans.

The routine of the day allows children to make choices and time to become involved in sustained play. Small groups work together to build on mathematical concepts, language, literacy and physical skills. Time is also built in for children to rest and there is provision for those children that might like to nap in the day.

Plans in each room, letters and updates to the website keep parents up to date with the nursery’s activities. Regular parent/teacher consultation evenings are held throughout the year.
